Bit of a long shot.

Having shelled out the few quid the guy wanted for Minecraft I thought I'd host a server for myself and a few mates to play on. We've usually used Hamachi for things like Freelancer over the years and I did some digging in order to find out how to do it. I set the server up, through Hamachi, with help from one of the guides I found online, launched it, logged in myself with no problems and let me buds know it was up.

Problem I'm getting is they can't connect, they just time out. I've changed settings around but got nowhere. I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience with this program/game combination.

Here are my server settings

#Minecraft server properties

hellworld=false
spawn-monsters=true
online-mode=false
spawn-animals=true

server-ip=xxxxxxxxxx - IP removed

Ta :)
