View Full Version : Earthquakes...?

Other realms have been reporting Earthquakes for a while now. Is that just a myth? Blizz have hinted that these are indeed real and meant to build some tension in the run up to Cata:

"What's happening?!"
A minor quake maybe? Or someone's eaten too many Fish feasts recently! Probably nothing to worry about..."

Anyone on SSE been online when an earthquake (aka Deathwing trying to break out) has happened?

Apparently there's invisible mobs that trigger the ground to shake - in one PTR you could even see them. Any idea where some of them are? Assuming they don't move around I guess I could hang out in the same place all day, waiting.

Boooooo! I wanna see one! I wanna see one! :P

So, random invisible mobs slowly walk across Azeroth and if they touch a player an Earthquake hits? Or similar?

Is it a major shaking of the ground or a little tremor? Would be kinda cool if the frequency of them increased over the next few months as well as their severity ^^

I did feel some shaking in Orgrimmar but assumed it was the guys battling with the crashing trashing robot things.

They're in all the major cities (even Dalaran floating in the sky!)

Its a camera shaking rather than ground shaking.

And I *think* they are meant to increase leading up to the expansion.

Is it just me or have they gotten far and few between since December?

I still haven't seen one happen yet, and I'm in a capital city most of the day.

OoooOOoooo!

So, what, they go off if you randomly bump into them, or? :)

If they're floating in the air, do they come down to ground level? or are they just huge?

Normally they arent visible nor clickable/targetable, this was just a bug on a PTR :)

I guess they just randomlly go and shake 'stuff', seen it happening once on live servers a few months ago..

Experienced a few when I've been in IF, but there don't appear to have been so many recently.
