View Full Version : Warcraft Books?
I was wondering if anyone *gasps* reads the Warcraft books and if so could recommend any of them or even a starting point or something.
Give me something to do at work (other than work ofc :P)

The original series starts with;
1. Day of the Dragon by Richard A. Knaak
2. Lord of the Clans by Christie Golden
3. The Last Guardian by Jeff Grubb

I myself, have "The war of the ancients" trilogy. All three written by richard A. Knaak.
Basically it's the story of the first coming of the legion, the betrayal of neltharion, the old gods who wish to manipulate the Dragon(Demon) Soul.
Also here you get to know the story in the POV of different personalities, such as Illidan Stormrage, Malfurion Stormrage, Tyrande Whisperwind, Krasus(The Consort of Alexstrasza), Rhonin (who is currently the leader of the Kirin-Tor.
I was thinking of the sunwell triology, the war of the anicents trilogy or the new Arthas ,
Any others any thoughts :)

I read War of the Ancients and really liked it. A very epic tale of how is all started (pretty much). Also a very different view at some of the Warcraft characters :) (Except Illidan, he was a cunt before and he's still one now)
I can totally recommend that one. Starting on Arthas soonish, too.

Day of the Dragon is my favourite book too. I have hopes that 3.2 will bring some content either in CoT or in Grim Batol that feeds directly from the lore based around teh story.
