Lo, ive been thinking of making a little movie mostly for my own sake but I'm not sure what software to use. The main problem is that my machine is owned by the company I work at and is scanned for pirated software every now and then. Are there any free programs I can use to first of all capture the raw material and I think ive read somewhere that htere is a 30 day trial of sony vegas is that correct or are there any other options that are free? (no not microsoft moviemaker pls)

Any other tips would be nice aswell , if i have the possibility to use sonyvegas i think i saw a nice video tutorial for making a nice intro on WCM.
