The "epic" purple colour from epic items would do well I think, same font too.

otherwise a toned down orange would work well, also matches the borders on posts.

The same colour deep Orange as the forum buttons and headers would look nice and it would match.

Val if you can figure out where in vbulletin to put this in... (I assume its in their template system rather than in a flat file)

If you're happy with

This (unvisted link)
This (visited link)
This (hovering over either of the above)

Then change Normal links CSS to #22229C font colour and text decoration to underline. Visted links to #22229C font colour and no text decoration. Hover links to #FF4400, no text decoration. (basically the same as the example picture in the link alv posted with the addition of underline). Sadly it seems you can't add bold without editing some text files, since that comes under text weight rather than decoration tag.

Edit: looking at the source for the base forum page, it seems like itemstats might get in the way. Let me know if changing the stuff in the link alv gave gives any issue.

This is your 7 day reminder!

you don't do it in a traditional .css files as such in vB 3.0-3.6, you go to the style manager in the admin control pannel, click the 'go' button next to "All Style Options" opersite the style your forum uses, and scroll down to the 'body' section. There you have 3 little color boxes. You can click in the color box and pick a color from 1000's of them, or just type the code into the box, and press save at the bottom. I dont think an item links mod will effect it. Assuming your using the item links mod same as I installed on the MCO website, you can change these links colours as much as you like.

He subcontracted to Jaexi on page 1, lets hassle him!

Edit: or wait, we could 'voulenteer' Val to do it, giving him twice the webdev he currently has.

As long as he can still fix all the crap I break on our site then... sure!

Nothing's broken. Stop casting nasturtiums.

And yeah amma, the stuff you've posted looks like the thing to do for a default VB install, but the itemstats mod does weird things to html links and colouring that could be interfering. I'd know if turiel would fiddle with stuff and see if anything changes. :p
