Haven't even been raiding with it, but it's already one of my favourite spells.
Was duoing with the misses last night and the spell actually made me stay out of shadowform (!)
While we were both fighting another mob the buff just popped from here to me and back, keeping us both on 100% for under 400 mana. Pure win.

Spell discription:

Places a spell on the target that heals them for 800 the next time they take damage. When the heal occurs, Prayer of Mending jumps to a raid member within 20 yards. Jumps up to 5 times and lasts 30 sec after each jump. This spell can only be placed on one target at a time.

In my damage gear (530 afaik) it healed for just over a 1000.

I've not really played around with my healing spells that much, I've been focusing on my damage gear, sadly most people doing instances are having the 'thats dps gear, priests can't have it' attitude, so I'm waiting for my guildies to level up then I'll get into instances.

I like the binding heal spell, its extremely situational, but its great when you have the choice of healing yourself or someone else to be able to actually heal both. I'm looking forward to seeing how some of the new healing spells will work out in a raid environment. :)

Disappointing to hear that Suricarta, I would have thought people would be nice enough to allow you to roll on +dmg/heal items.

Hey and that's coming from a 'lock :S

My mage would let you roll on dmg/heal gear too. If you wanted the +frost dmg gear I might '' a bit though...

Gief that, on the topic of damage gear, i've let a druid roll on +spelldmg cloth, so reroll horde and i'd let you roll on damage stuff :d

Yeah, but my wand does frost damage so I need all the frost gear I can get my hands on! :-P

As a Holy Pally, having seen Prayer of Mending in action, I honestly think it beats pretty much anything.

In raids it will (and does) win.

Oh, and did I mention that Prayer of Mending's healing aggro counts towards the patient, rather than the priest?

Prayer of Mending now has a 20 second cooldown.
Damn. :(

On the upside: I can stay in shadowform again.

Of course you can - as long as you stick strictly to PvP and soloing.

Errr, why if I may ask? Im raiding with OTD in full shadowspecc, havent healed on a single bossencounter yet and we have reached Curator. Add to that that I don't have any points in silent resolve.

So please explain why you should stricly stick to pvp or soloing.

Ah thank you very much. I will never PvE anymore cause you say so :s
Your posts usually makes sense Senex, but I bet you were drunk on this one.

I'll just quote someone on Shadowpriest.com (link (http://www.shadowpriest.com/viewtopic.php?t=1690&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0)):
I'll start asking for BoS instead of BoW and it'll be almost the same as pre-nerf. Cept I needa use regen food or potions.
Or, just get 2 pallies and go with both and have it just like pre-nerf. lol.

It's darkpurple and it looks ev0l. Wish my healgear would like that instead of bleached mage T1

10 seconds CD now, along with some other small buffs. And Eyonix mentioned the devs are looking at survivability in pve/pvp.

Won't hold my breath just yet though.

atleast we got a -33% mana cost on CoH!!!

NotRachel

There is no earhtly reason for it to be longer than 4s. Or make it instant and up the mana cost. Or something.

The PW:S buff is meaningless. It might have doubled the damage it absorbs but that's about an extra 150hp for me at the moment and it will still be gone before it's own GCD is over.
