View Full Version : Fistweapon spec

I've been running my rogue through ZG and such, and I've set my eyes on the epic fistweapon set Thekal's Grasp and Arlokk's Grasp. Once I get these babies, I'll respec to a more fitting build than hemo, since that obviously won't be too hot with fast, lowdamage weapons.

So far, the only viable candidate for this, is a tweaked 18/33 combat spec (http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=fhxfoLZG0Ez0VzVfo), but I'm wondering if other people have experimented with these, and found a more fitting spec. Any ideas?

get 1 point les in murder and get full lethality

(btw those fist arent that good crappy range on them)

I've never been a rogue, however wouldn't fast weapons be better for hemo? It increases the damage of each attack so faster weapons will offer a bigger increase per time?

i had been playing for some time with the Thekal and Arlokk's set. The only thing i changed in my spec was adding improved slice and dice ability (in assiss tree) It raises chances on procs alot!

Only in the same way +5 weapon damage makes a faster mainhand dagger better. Ie. No.

Hemo was never normalised by the rationalised weapon speeds, so slow weapons benefit a lot more from your AP. Plus, since you are spamming it, the slow speed of a 2.8+ weapon aint a problem when your attacks are instant.

Imo, for combat and pure white pve damage they arent exactly bad, and the spec you mentioned (after maxing lethality) is pretty much the only spec that will work with them.

I know they're not the best weapons to get, but my rogue won't be seeing any raids beyond MC for a long time, as she's my alt. I'll check into that small improvement, then decide which works best.

Hemo is like worthless for a pve build

dont get the offhand, it has NO stats :O the main hand is fair play but offhand see if you can procure the Warblade of the Hakkari from Bloodlord. Looks cool and is hella lot better :)

Not really, but it takes very damn imba gear and skills to play it effectively in PvE.

You'd still do better with combat daggers

Possibly, but if you have a few pro combat dagger pwners in raid, there's room to experiment. We have a hemo rogue with servo arm, and it's interesting to see his performance on some fights.

Some guy on the rogue forums worked out that the hemo debuff actually does benefit practically every non-caster DPS in a pretty good way.

One hemo rogue per raid seems pretty useful if you ask me

last time I checked the dps increase for the raid was less than what the rogue could have gained by speccing combat. but maybe that's outdated info.

If you add the new numbers of post 1.12 hemo (my rogue in full blues crits hemo for 600 damage) then im sure it'd be different

post 1.12 hemo gained what, a small target's armor decrease and 10% more AP?
