Just curious, having had a play with the TBC talent calculators, what specs you guys are gonna go for once the expansion comes out?

Does anyone else find it odd that Arms now has Iron Will (resist stuns/charms) yet further down the tree we have 2nd wind which is a skill reliant on us getting stunned to work?

So I'm effectively spending 5 points of my new talents getting back where I was at lv60. ¬_¬

... in fact I won't even HAVE those five points for maybe a month or so, so what am I gonna miss out on?

Great, I'll lose Enrage. Cuntbubbles. :@

I'm just hoping they add a single talent to the tier 1 arms tree that's a little more worth it spending points on.

Does seem quite odd, yes.
But when you think about it, it could be quite logical.
You don't want to be stunned, hence you spend talents in Iron Will to reduce the chance you will be, but if you do get stunned, which is annoying, then there is something to compensate for it. Second Wind is not a talent for generating rage, it's a talent to compensate for the lack of rage you build up when stunned, or for the time you are immobile for.

Yes... those fun 5 points effectively mean we get half the amount of talent points compared to other classes. Suuure... we can choose to not get TM... and.. y'know.. be gimped beyond recognition. I mean... I can't even put more than 3 points in it. Three points I could've used better if it was still in arms.

This cloud's silver lining: The new anger management.

The big question: Does it work out of combat.

Mehh, I thought you would realise that it's just a rewording of the way it "works" at the moment.

My take on relocation of TM.

Yes I could live with it. But tbh only if they made a change to how bloodrage works. Down it to 30 sec CD. Let us put talents somewhere and have imp bloodrage CD downed to 20 sec or something.

Basically, as a warrior you are used to pop different skills that sacrifces and puts your HP in danger. Zerker rage, take more damage, reckless same, bloodrage, you lose hp.

I can see where blizz is coming from avoiding do make TM trainable or in the right tree (arms). They probable have certain items and other skills that are world drops in the xpansion that we dont know about. Also, I have a feeling that seeing MoM from Kelth, they are not stopping the insane production of 2h weapon.

However, things remain to be seen. These talents are as they said subject for change. No need to be final, although I wouldnt hope much on changes. Strikes me odd that druids can train innervate, but then again, innervate adds more to the healing area of game more than dps (yes one can say that druids such as ferals can use it in pvp I know where its could be seen as adding to their survival hence more dps) but not in a direct form as TM would help a DPS warrior.

I guess, would these changes be kept by blizzard, using BR and Zerk rage will be more important than ever. Which will in its turn lead to more deaths for warriors in pvp at least.

I dont give much for the new talents to be honest. I feel its more like a gimmick and pretending by Blizz to keep us plate monsters happy than anything else.

My bet is most of us dps players will lean towars dividing the points and either go for MS + DW/flurry or other way around and adding weapon spec from arms tree.

Remains to be seen. But the warrior class is the BEST class in game. We are the most versatile. We can do things other classes cant.

I still see us as being among the best dpsers in BC.
And I see us by far being the best tanks in BC.

It IS the same as the current one.

At all times a warrior looses 3 rage every 3 seconds. When flagged as in combat warriors gain 3 rage every 3 seconds (ie no total gain/loss in combat). Anger management gives you 1 rage per 3 at all times.

Net result - 2 rage per 3 sec loss when ooc, 1 rage per 3 sec gain when in combat.

It's true that the first 2 tiers Arms offer no much-needed talents to unlock everything beyond. It's also true that the Arms and Fury 41 pts. are pretty mediocre, but a 31/30/0 build ain't possible anymore at this point either. Let's hope the feedback people gave on those issues over the last week will be evaluated by the devs, for those who actually want to go arms.

None of the T8 or T9 talents in Arms really float my boat.

Second Wind looks like it might be handy, so I was thinking of this:

http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/underdev/burningcrusade/warrior/talents.html?0502302035201050031300050501040050100 00000005000000000000000000000

Or, if Second Wind turns out to be shite, this:

Was also thinking of that build, except 1 in anger management and 3 in imp hamstring, instead of imp disciplines.

I was leaning more along the lines of MS, DW/Flurry with a spec in some kind of crit weapon (leaning towards axes i guess). I was pondering the idea of a flurry sword spec to maybe aid some burst dmg from fast cosecutive hits + extra attacks, but i decided the proc rate is just too low imo to make this viable.
