i just wondered how the damage is calculated for a druid in bear/cat-form?

Couldnt find any info about this. I hope some of you can tell me what stats i should be looking after on weapons.

Strength gives the most raw AP, two per point. Agility gives 1 AP per point afaik but has the added bonus of contributing to crit and dodge. Comes down to personal preference and what you want to do, really

How do stats affect feral forms?

1 Strength gives 2 Attack Power
1 Agility gives 1 Attack Power (in cat form only)

14 Attack Power = 1 DPS

20 Agility = 1% Crit
20 Agility = 1% Dodge
20 Agility = 40 Armor (not multiplied by bear form)

Base Caster DPS = 9.1, 120 AP
Base Bear DPS = 72.0, 300 AP
Base Cat DPS = 75.9, 295 AP

It listed as Section 6, which can be found in post 5.

Other druid stuff (including the link to the thread I linked and quoted above, can be found in a list here (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/classlinks.html#druid) but I have no idea how useful they all are :P

yeah, the main question is, if a mace etc. deals 50-70 dmg and got 3.50 speed.

how would that be in cat mode? Im sorry if its captain obvious but its 3 in the morning and im not very bright :P

i just wonder if it doesnt matter wether in using a dagger or a 2-h mace

Weapons only provide stats in forms.

As Elexin said. But added some quick extra info if you have HotW:

1 str = 2AP
With HotW (in cat form) 1 str = 2.4 AP
1 AGI = 1 AP cat form only
14 AP = 1dps

20 AGI = 1% melee crit
20AGI = 1% dodge
1AGI = 2AC

1 STA = 10 HP (w/ HotW bear = 12)
1 INT = 15 Mana (w/ HotW = 18)

Spirit mana regen = spirit/5 +15
Spell crit 59.5 int = 1%

weapon dps and weapon procs do nothing in forms. you will want to wear weapons solely for stats.

While on the subject of proc'ing etc. (There is a new weapon that has a proc wich does proc in feral, though it's crap).

Do trinkets proc? for example the darkmoon card, elementals deck i believe. The one that hits for 200-300dmg when it procs or sp?

The elementals deck works, yes.

"On equip" items should work.

Fixed :wink:

There is one form where weapons should work though: Moonkin. Since you can whack things with your equipped weapon, I'd assume chance on hit and such work.

But aside from that, not used in other forms.
