Ok, so i started an alt druid with a friend, and im just gonna grind it to 60 slowly and steadily. So im looking for the right spec. I think feral is what've suited me best previously so a feral build would be best i guess.

I made some builds myself (keep in mind i have NO knowledge about druids what so ever)

Some feral spec with Nature's swiftness. Dont know if its all that good, speccing for 'Leader of the pack'

Almost a 100% feral minded spec. Dont know if it would be wise to get furor from the resto tree.

second one is almost like mine, only I have furor in stead of thick hide and some other small differences. To make feral work you need a lot of good gear though. gearing up for ballance, in my opinion is less hard, resto is the easiest to gear.

balance is pointless unless you've got decent gear, i.e big mana pool and some dps gear. Soloing is easy, just keep em rooted and lay of the dots, stafire stuns will save your ass and moonkin is fab for melee mobs, like mug said thick hide for moonkins helps also but I put this instead into resto for the raiding i do.

Furor - pretty imba talent imo. I have 5/5 Furor instead of 5/5 Imp. Motw (guild druids laff at me for this, but I laff at them for not having furor).

10 instant rage upon shapeshifting to bear means you can pull of an almost instant stun or feral charge. If you want to save points you can get imp. enrage, which gives 5 or 10 instant rage upon using, if my memory doesn't fail me.

I've never really bothered with nature's grasp. I had it for a while ago once but given that it never works half the time due to being indoors and entangling roots is incredibly unpredictable anyway it's just 5 points wasted if you ask me. Take them out and shove them into improved healing touch, or imp entangling roots if prefered. With no interrupts you can root things well enough anyway.

As for moonkin form, and though I fear udder slaps, I dropped that pretty quickly too, mainly because I never used it except to dance. Usually when I'm soloing I still had to pop out of it to heal anyway, so it's just a waste of mana to switch in and out. And if I'm not soloing I didn't need the armour anyway.

If possible, it's worth getting nature's swiftness whatever build you go for, in my opinion. It's saved my ass more times than I can remember.

seeming i did 1-56 in balance spec u can level a druid with anything but focussing on dps is the best u could do

go for anything that adds cat damage :)

u also might wanna put in 5 points in nature grasp and imp nature grasp

it has given me those vital 2-3 seconds for a heal before or when i needed to run from more then 1 mob

def worth to have as a talent :)

If you are going for pure dps (IE cat form) may want to get omen of clarity, since this will give yopu a chance at free attacks :)

One of my favourites:
0/30/21. Really high survivability.

13/31/7. Bit more focus on damage output.
