new talent calc

my possible build:

the plain elemental + healing dmg build
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/shaman2/talents.html?5503013500201510000000000000000050343 500000000
the point with this one is wether get 2 points in reverb.. or 2 in earths grasp for 20% more range on EB
since i only use EB in one fight i rather choose reverb i think

enhancement + resto build
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/shaman2/talents.html?0000000000000005005032105013051050343 500000000
there is one point in enh i can't place.. i placed it in imp WF totem but u can place it at random

post your builds!

A nice 2H raiding spec:

And Elemental PvP:

i have a dilemma on the resto tree

tidal focus 5/5 .. no question about that
but then it gets tricky

shall i go for
ancestral healing 3/3
totemic focus 4/5
healing focus 5/5
nature's guidance 3/3

totemic focus 5/5
healing focus 5/5
nature's guidance 3/3
tidal mastery 2/5
and possible switch points between healingfocus and tidal mastery.. more crit for less interruptionprevention

I will most likely go for:

Most of the time as a restoshaman i do MT healing. Blizz are forcing healshamans to switch to healing wave (set bonus on tier3, Healing Way talent, tablet from aq20). That's how my build will look probably:

From experience I rarely seem to get healing agro; sometimes on trash, or when first learning an encounter, but its something you tend to learn not to do pretty fast... we've gone so long without it that I'm not sure if the talent is actually worth it.

So just curious, what are the general thoughts on Healing Grace?

I did get agroed few times in bwl. So i stoped using consumeables (mana pots, night dragons, demonic runes). That tallent will make me more effective in raids.

an extended buildreview by me on wow-europe:

Very nice build, I might use that myself but with 2/5 healing focus and 5/5 tidal mastery - only because I'll use my shaman in PvP/messing around rather than any raiding.

I'll be going for the same build me thinks, just a shame to give up the 3% crit for lightning and heals :?

Hmm, still not sure!

aye its a nice build idd ill be pretty much using most of it with a few tweaks here and there ^^
i'm taking ancestral healing and totemic mastery in favor tidal mastery and some totemic focus i think
and prolly get both my shocks and LB's on .8 cast reduction...

edit: im a bit disapointed where still stuck with stormstrike btw :/

Well at least it costs less, has a shorter cooldown, now if it only worked properly as well all the time it wouldn't be too bad :P

19-05-2006, 04:56 PM
go for frostshock

Hm, http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/shaman2/talents.html?5503015500301210505030025000000000000 000000000 might be interesting as a pure PvP spec.
