View Full Version : Druid AQ armour pic...

After being mildly annoyed with the lack of decent druid AQ armour pics, I finally got a decent pic of the druid AQ armour from a kind guildie...
The stats are great, but the armour is teh ugly. I think I'll learn to live with the armour itself (breastplate, shoulders etc), but as for the helm... Definitely a job for 'hide helm interface options'! :( The weapon looks nice though!

Ah, same meshes as rogue set, just... browner.

Looks better without the wrong legs. This is why WowModelViewer annoys me so - There's the occasional bug where it shows the wrong items.
Try putting on DI Plate, you end up with bracers and an unrelated legpiece too.
In the case of the AQ sets, removing the boots removes the silly cloth legs too. This is good for me as I look up all the graphics on Tauren, and boots don't work right on tauren anyway. :D
Hang on, I'll get a better pic.

Lazy graphic artists (well, producers who won't spend more on 3D modeller wages)... As you say Tak, same mesh as rogue armour:
Cheers for the image Karadros - looks much nicer with the correct legs, true.
hehe Proterra - the helm looks quite cool on the female cow model... Sort-of like an uber-techno cow: BOVINE OF THE FUTURE! 8)
On a similar note, the Zandalar stuff (even though the stats on them are really nice) also has no nice new models or designs (it's the same as the tribal LW crafted Chimeric set... good for nature resist and not a lot else)... I'm hoping that Blizz will upgrade the Zandalar things one day too. I was hoping for a voodoo-style robe with the chestpiece.

ZG plate - Spider-deathbone. :(
Anyway, it's not just the druids and rogues that share art. All three cloth classes do, both mails, and even warriors and *spits* pallies.
